Baby O!
Earlier this year, I promised myself, I’ll go back through all my photos and blog every single shoot, no matter how overdue. So, even tho Baby O is almost Toddler O by now, I’m still going to write about him! And, while I’m still really far from that goal, tonight, one very short blog post later, I’ll be one newborn shoot closer. YAY!
Baby O’s parents are super fun loving and really terrific people. I loved that they wanted to do a fun, Mila’s Daydreams-esque pose for their baby announcement, and had everything picked out, including the perfectly coordinated baby outfits and stuffed rabbit, even in their sleep-deprived states.
We left just enough room between the clothes and the grass for the announcement details ~ I think the photo came out super cute!

Welcome Baby Jack!
I recently had the opportunity to photograph 7-day old baby Jack with Henry of Woodson Photography. It was a Woodson Photography newborn session and it was really nice to be invited to tag along. Having a partner while shooting a newborn session was refreshing — I got to get some great shots and see Henry in action!
Baby Jack was a whopping 10lbs 9oz at birth. This was how we found him when we first got there:
He was sleeping so peacefully, so we got right to work and got some great shots. Then he woke, got fed, got changed, napped again and in between, we got some more great shots.
I snuck away for a minute and got some beautiful shots of the nursery, decorated with a woodland creature theme and just absolutely adorable… (tee hee there’s the Twitter bird!)
Henry and baby Jack’s dad are friends from Apple, so, naturally, baby Jack is born an Apple fanboi!
Baby Jack only recently came home and the family cats were still getting used to not being the centers of attention, and definitely came by to say hi a few times. One of them was super curious of the cameras. As a result, I got an amazing shot of Chloe:
Hmm, perhaps I should start doing more pet photography?

Happy Father’s Day!
To all the dads out there, Happy Father’s Day!
I’m celebrating today by sharing with everyone a double family session I shot a long time ago, but never got around to sharing. It was a beautiful day in San Mateo and two families that are really good friends decided to do a joint photo shoot. We went to the gorgeous San Mateo Central Park nearby, and it was the perfect setting for the two wonderful and relaxed families to spend a few hours for the afternoon. It turned out that a double family shoot was a terrific idea, since when one kid got tired I was able to move on and photograph the other kid, and vise versa.
We had a lot of fun, and got a few really great photos out of the day. Hope you enjoy them too!
