Amy + Randy | Happy 3 Year Wedding Anniversary!

I recently blogged about Amy and her beautiful girls (ok, at the time of the shoot, it was one girl in person, and one girl in belly). What I didn’t mention in that blog post was that I also had the pleasure of photographing Amy and Randy’s wedding 3 years ago today.

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY AMY & RANDY!

Wow, has it really been 3 years? How time flies! Then, when I sit down and think about it again, has it only been 3 years? It’s wonderful people like Amy and Randy who made me the photographer I am today. In the last 3 years, I’ve had lots of wonderful opportunities to capture the beautiful memories of many, each uniquely gorgeous, weddings. I’ve made friends, learned along the way, bettered my skills. Each and every one of my couple has put their trust in me in documenting their special day, and I’ve delivered the absolute best I can every time.

Amy and Randy were extra special. They trusted me when I was still a hobbyist carrying around a Canon XTi. They had hired no other photographers — it was up to me and my husband Henry (who has also created his own photography brand, Woodson Photography). They gave me their trust, and my start, and I’m forever grateful.

Hmm, funny thing… there was one girl in belly during this shoot too! Tee hee hee. Congrats again, and I love you guys!

Angie + Aaron | San Francisco Wedding Photography | Argonaut Hotel

Once in a while, the stars align, and you end up with the perfect wedding. Although it was early April, Mother Nature gifted us a beautiful summer-y day to have an outdoor wedding in San Francisco. The venue was the nautically themed Argonaut Hotel, located in the heart of Fisherman’s Wharf. I had the pleasure to spend the day documenting the special day for the most wonderfully sweet and relaxed couple, Angie and Aaron. They opted for a more photojournalistic style of capturing the day, which was perfect for them since they had a small wedding party (just her sister and his twin brother and an adorable pair of flower girl & ring bearer), and the most loving friends and families who also happen to really know how to party!

Angie and Aaron, thank you again for being a terrific couple and giving me and my team the opportunity to capture the memories!
